Fine Art / Illustration Portfolio

This course supports students pursuing fine art or illustration pathways by developing work that balances technical skill, conceptual depth, and visual communication. Students engage in sustained studio practice across drawing, painting, and illustrative approaches, exploring both observational and narrative-driven work. Through guided critique and individualized direction, students refine their ideas, strengthen execution, and shape a cohesive body of portfolio work aligned with their intended programs.

Fashion Design Portfolio

This course is designed for students applying to college fashion design programs and focuses on building a strong, application-ready portfolio. Instruction is tailored to each student’s designated schools and specific admission requirements. Students are guided through ideation, fashion illustration, and material-based exploration, with emphasis on design thinking, creative confidence, and the development of cohesive, portfolio-level work.

Animation / Entertainment Design Portfolio

This course prepares students pursuing animation and entertainment design by developing visual storytelling, character development, and world-building skills essential to the field. Students work through concept art, character and environment design, and sequential imagery, building a portfolio that demonstrates narrative thinking, strong draftsmanship, and creative intent. Instruction is tailored to each student’s direction—animation, game, or entertainment design—supporting focused, application-ready portfolio development.

Product design

This course is designed for students applying to college product design or industrial design programs and focuses on developing a strong, application-ready portfolio. Instruction is tailored to each student’s target schools and specific requirements, guiding students through design research, ideation, sketching, prototyping concepts, and visual presentation. Emphasis is placed on design thinking, problem-solving, and the development of clear, well-documented portfolio work.
